I've spent the last few weeks reaching out to numerous watchmakers. I'm still waiting to hear back from quite a few and still reaching out to more. In the meantime, I'm excited to announce the latest additions to the Community! @OLIGO Fernando Ronzon @Tselishchev Andrey Can from Uhren Manufaktur Maxim Sushkov Albert Villa I'm finalizing my questionnaire for the the watchmakers so I can ensure future efforts continue to meet their needs. The blogs are a little clunky, but I think they are a good place for posts like this and if there is interest from people in continuing the member review blogs, I can investigate getting it set up so that it will be more user friendly. Unfortunately, that particular work would have to be outsourced to someone who can build a page and I want to ensure there is interest before embarking on that or if we wait to fully implement it later. The other option is to investigate other blog software such as Substack and see if there is a way to create a community environment within that package. I think it would be nice if the blogs were separate, but part of the same "group" so that we can promote them as a whole and generate more interest in all of them as a result. Open to suggestions here. In the meantime, if you have a separate blog, I'm happy to promote that with links on the forum as well as through posts on Social Media when you have new content. A call for strapmakers. I would like to include a subforum for strapmakers and have a few who have agreed already. But if you know any custom strapmakers that do great work, please let me know and I'll reach out to them. A couple things I've added - a place to post your daily wrist shots. I'm still working on how to manage images efficiently around the site, especially the staged and/or more professional looking shots. But hopefully some of the members will start posting theirs as well. I have also started a general chat thread for general info and discussion. Nothing serious, but a good way to have a multi-chat conversation. So feel free to jump in there as well. That's about it for now. This week at work is busy, but next week I'll get clubs set up for all of the latest watchmakers and shortly thereafter I'll be starting to promote on social media announcing the watchmakers which I think will also generate some more interest in others joining. One final thing, if you are a member and would like to help grow your account, then feel free to tag @bespokenlounge.watch and @time.texas and I'll add to my stories. Wednesday, back in the office.

So while I'm waiting to hear back from Kasper of Vitreum on joining the forum, I'm helping him out a little with his latest launch, the Sand the Storm. He's also getting the V2 Honeycombs ready to send out and is including Easter eggs in his posts for another upcoming release.

Rolling with my Formex Field today. Daughter has COVID so I'm staying away from her but more importantly staying away from the office. Still working though.

This looks incredible. This is such a beautiful car. It looks like the crystal is actually slightly recessed below the bezel with only the top of the curved crystal extending higher. Is that correct?

First thoughts, the MAKS is a beautiful classical case design from Zeitwinkel and comes in at 39mm. The dials shine through with extremely unique colors and an amazing "concentric tapestry" integration of the Zeitwinkel logo that creates the appearance it is radiating from the large sub-seconds dial at the 6. The subseconds has a circular guilloche pattern. The exterior of the dial is adorned with triangular faceted hour markers pair well with the alpha hands and a small-ish Zeitwinkel logo and name sits neatly above the handset. The colors are incredibly unique and from the photographs are bold colors implemented in a somewhat reserved manner. The dials are applied in 20 layers of laquer. They seem to alternate from nearly a softer pastel to more vibrant depending on the angle and lighting. The MAKS is named after one of the co-founders of the brand. It's definitely a step in a more colorful, light-hearted direction and I think its a good move. Zeitwinkel has been one of the absolute best values in independent watchmaking and have been highly regarded as watchmakers. But they have remained relatively under the radar and I think these eye-catching models will generate interest while still remaining attainable. Serious watchmaking can be fun and the MAKS exemplifies that idea
